FAQ

Best time for Maternity shoot?

We book for 28-34 weeks when the belly is nice and round and the mother to be still has a bit more energy.
Highly recommend booking 30 days in advance, as bookings come fast and gives you more time to look at some inspiration for your dream session.

How should we dress for our family session?

Neutrals, Whites and beige are best. You will be advised on choices with your photographer dependent on your vision how we can make that happen.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

From birth to 2 weeks max is the best time, whilst baby is still not so aware and in more of a sleep state, for these dreamy sleepy photos.
We can still do until 4 weeks but bare in mind baby will be more aware and not as sleepy, but we can still acheive some gorgeous shots regardless

What do i need to prep before my maternity shoot?

After booking you will be sent a prep guide that will give you all the information you need to be ready for your session.

Hair and makeup suggestions?

When choosing your looks keep in mind the outfit and setup you have to match those looks.
For makeup we suggest a soft natural glam as it complements the natural glow of pregnancy and matches with more backdrops. Also getting it professionally done is highly recommended.
For hair we suggest Hollywood waves as it matches with a variety of outfits and set ups.

Can I purchase printed photos?

Yes, during the download process you will be guided to our store where we have partnered with an professional Australian owned photo lab. From there you can choose your sizes etc.
We highly recommend using this lab as other companies that don't specialize in photography prints don't provide the same photo quality.
